Bibliographic description and references

ATTENTION! References in the text of the article are made in the form of page-by-page automatic references without indentation, in the original language with continuous numbering in accordance with the rules for the design of literature and archival sources according to DSTU 8302:2015. Type size – 10. Alignment along the width of the page.

At the end of the text, a list of references (REFERENCES) is provided, designed using APA style. Archival sources are not listed in this list, with the exception of printed source collections.

ATTENTION. When designing the text part, bibliographical description and references, it is necessary to:

  • put spaces between initials, volume symbol and volume number, etc.
  • use dashes and hyphens correctly;
  • correctly place punctuation marks between all elements of the bibliographical description of the source.

REFERENCES

  1. The list of references (References) should be listed alphabetically, in a completely separate block.
  2. Automatic numbering of sources in REFERENCES is prohibited
  3. The list of references, designed in accordance with the style requirements of APA - American Psychological Association, is provided at the end of the text of the article. Archival sources in this list are given in the case of the availability of their printed collection.   4. The list of references (REFERENCES) is submitted in transliterated form. Additionally, after the transliterated name of the literary source, its English translation is given in square brackets. Proper names of collections, magazines and literary sources are presented in transliteration.
  5. English-language publications and those written in European languages are not transliterated (given in the original).
  6. For transliteration of Ukrainian-language sources, use the site: https://slovnyk.ua/translit.php; for transliteration of Russian-language sources, use the site http://www.translit.net. Be sure to check for punctuation after transliteration.
  7. Be sure to indicate the DOI of the article (if available) in the bibliographic description.
  8. Use dashes and hyphens correctly.
  9. Do not put a period in References after the transliterated name of a literary source before square brackets with an English translation and at the end of the description of this source before (in Russian) and (in Ukrainian). A period is placed only if the last word before the square brackets or before (in Russian) and (in Ukrainian) is abbreviated.
