“Studies in History and Philosophy of Science and Technology” is a scientific journal (founder – Oles Honchar Dnipro National University). Founded in 1993, the journal publishes original and review scientific articles in the field of “History and Archaeology” and original and review scientific articles in the field of “Philosophy”.
The journal is included in category “B” of the List of scientific professional publications of Ukraine, in which the results of dissertations for the degrees of Doctor of Sciences and Candidate of Sciences (Doctor of Philosophy) can be published: field of sciences – “Philosophical”, specialties – 033 (Appendix 2 to the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 05/14/2020 No. 627); field of sciences – “Historical”, specialties – 032 (Appendix 4 to the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 07/02/2020 No. 886).

The journal STUDIES IN HISTORY AND PHYLOSPHY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY is a professional scientific publication in historical and philosophical sciences. The journal, founded in 1993, was published until 2018 under the title "Bulletin of Dnipropetrovsk University. Series History and Philosophy of Science and Technology". Under the specified name, 25 issues of the journal were published up to and including 2017. In connection with the change of the name of Dnipropetrovsk University, it became necessary to change the name of the journal. From No. 26, the journal begins to be published under a new name. which is indicated on its cover.
Since the journal STUDIES IN HISTORY AND PHYLOSPHY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY is the legal successor of the journal "Bulletin of Dnipropetrovsk University. History and Philosophy of Science and Technology Series", the numbering of journals with the changed name will continue.
