Abstract

Alexandra Mikhailovna Kollontai – Russian revolutionary, Soviet statesman and diplom at, political sociologist of the labor movement in Russia and Europe, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USSR to Norway, Mexico, and Sweden. She is considered the author of the Marxist version of feminism. The purpose of the article is to determine the place and evolution of Marxist feminism in the discourse of the XX – early XXI centuries, which progressively developed along with the women’s movement in the world. At the same time, the methodology and argumentation of feminism was improved, differentiated and rationalized, and gender studies were progressing. Used materials sources on the history and current state of feminism and gender studies in Russia and the world. The article can be useful to anyone interested in the construction of modern politics. Modern feminism is an effective means of transforming society under the banner of freedom. Real democracy, the mechanisms of civil society have experienced a powerful impact of feminism. Marxist feminism, having significantly transformed, entered the modern foundation of the humanities as a radical form of feminism.
