Abstract

The article considers the processes of development of domestic philosophy in the Soviet era in Ukraine. The authors note that the philosophy of Ukraine has passed a difficult path of its own development, but still managed to develop an original philosophical style, interesting ideas and concepts, which are characterized by the depth and uniqueness of the vision of Ukrainian reality. On the other hand, the philosophical search of a number of original domestic thinkers was in tune with the search that was at the same time in Western philosophy. It is worth noting that the study of the national philosophical tradition in all periods of its existence is a necessary prerequisite for the creation of a holistic concept of the Ukrainian humanities and its integral segment – philosophy. Therefore, the appeal to the legacy of the Soviet era with the desire for an unbiased, objective view from a certain time distance can not be ignored as a historical and philosophical discourse, and other components of modern Ukrainian philosophical analysis. The article notes that the problem of identifying original authorial ideas and concepts formulated by domestic philosophers of the Soviet era, which were also consonant or coincided with the emergence of similar searches for Western European philosophical discourse (relatively speaking, the phenomenon of "congeniality") as a separate topic and undeveloped in the Ukrainian historical and philosophical, and more broadly – the general humanitarian scientific literature of Ukraine. The purpose of this exploration is to identify original concepts and ideas in line with Western philosophical pursuits, put forward and developed by philosophers of the late Soviet era and their representation in the works of I. Bychko, V. Lisovy, V. Roments, E. Sverstyuk, V. Stus. The article concludes that the philosophy of the post-Soviet period in Ukraine has absorbed all the diversity of philosophical pursuits, achievements and discoveries that arose on the national basis of Ukrainian culture and social reality, including the Soviet era. Among such findings were many original concepts and ideas of domestic philosophers, in tune with Western European philosophical pursuits. These ideas still deserve the attention of researchers today. The nihilistic rejection of the experience gained by philosophers and philosophical schools of Ukraine in the Soviet era will not allow to adequately and objectively analyze the difficult path of formation and development of both the humanities in general and philosophy in particular in our area.
